Printing an Archaeological Map

Hi!

I'm looking for a basic map of Minorca because I want to produce an Archaelogical Map of the island, print it and sell it. Can I use OSM or does the license forbid the selling of it?

Regards.

The license allows selling a product derived from OSM data but you have to place that product under the CC-BY-SA license, meaning that any of your customers can make copies of it and distribute them.

See the Legal FAQ and, more specifically, the answer to the question I created a layer on top of an OSM map, what do I have to put under your license?.

I suggest you also have a look at some recent proposals for archaeological tagging:

and others. The current set of proposed and established tags for historical / archaeological mapping still is quite incomplete and more suggestions are very welcome how to amend the map features with useful additions.
