I added bus stops for the first time and wondered if someone would be willing to check if I did it correctly before I proceed further: http://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/30909527#map=15/39.0904/-94.4266&layers=Q Also is there a way to add bus stop times with the iD editor? asked 08 May '15, 15:53 davidbolton |
Hi! Thanks for adding some data. Don't worry the whole history of old objects is kept, so people can always undo mistakes. Perhaps you could try to find some local mappers in your area who can help you, perhaps they might know what can be added based on local knowledge. The OSM wiki lists some. answered 11 May '15, 12:18 rorym |
Hi Davidbolton, you could add the name of the bus stop (if possible) and above all read these pages as well http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:highway%3Dbus_stop , with suggestions to tag a bus stop. Your adding more details then your college mappers in Independence. Another hint, look around to see what other mappers did and ask them why ? answered 09 May '15, 13:46 Hendrikklaas |
OSM is not the place for bus times. I think people usually separately use a transit feed to get those, such as the Google Transit Data Feed https://code.google.com/p/googletransitdatafeed/wiki/PublicFeeds
