How do I attach OPEN CYCLE MAP to my edit session?

please be more precise. what do you mean with "my edit session"?

You cannot "edit OpenCycleMap"; OpenCycleMap takes its data from OSM, so you edit the OpenStreetMap database and the results will be visible in OpenCycleMap. The exception are contour lines and hill shading; these are taken from third-party sources and you cannot edit them.

The OpenCycleMap tiles are a product of Gravitystorm Ltd. http://www.thunderforest.com/ Andy makes these tiles widely available. If you are looking to add them as a backdrop in JOSM you can go to Imagery > Imagery Preferences and in the upper pane select OpenCycleMap and then click the Activate button. See Below: Imagery Preferences panel screenshot

To add these tiles as a backdrop in iD you need to add it as custom background imagery. On the imagery control pane select custom and enter the TMS url from thunderforest.com .
