Hello!

I'm new to OpenStreetMap so please forgive me if my question has a simple answer, I've not been able to find any information on what I'm trying to do in the help section or forums..

I'm walking some of the E4 footpath in Cyprus and have found the following very useful map which includes a track of some parts of it: http://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/157354#map=9/34.9197/33.2309

What I'd like to do is download the track of the E4 from the above link in .gpx or .kml format. I can then import it into the myTracks application on my Mac so I can sync it to the app on my iPhone allowing me to follow this track in the field, but I can't figure out how to download this track information in .gpx, .kml or indeed any format. Is this something that is possible, and if so how would one go about doing this?

I thank you in advance for your time and look forward to hearing any information offered on this.

Many thanks and all the best.

You can do this through Overpass Turbo. This is a flexible way to download things. I use it to overlay paths or paved roads in Osmand for example.

However, there is a site that has just the feature you're looking for: http://waymarkedtrails.org Zoom to the area of interest, click "Routes" and choose the hiking trial you need. It even shows a little altitude profile, and you can download a gpx or kml.
