How to download OSM data for specific countries

Is there an way to download OSM database for any country I need? I need to use the OSM for my application.

Are you asking about raw data or pre-rendered tiles?

Thank you for answers. I just found what I need on http://download.geofabrik.de/ Here I can download data by regions
