Hi,

I'm preparing to arrange bike orienteering in my home town Malmö. I need a detailed map to do so, and OpenStreetMap fits quite well. The only thing is that I don't want text on the map, since checking street names is hardly orienteering. I hope there is a way to get the map without any text on it, but I can't seem to find how. Anyone who knows?

Thanks for any help Malmö Bike Tours

Type the keyword "without" in the text search box of this FAQ site, and you will get some hints how to produce maps without ceratin map features.

If you only need to generate a map for a small region maperitive is likely the easiest way to get a custom rendering. Or you can naturally set up your own tile server and design a style with Tilemill.

Hi Malmö Bike Tours, you cannot delete the available OSM data for your own goal, but you’ll have to build your own map locally. There are several tools for that purpose available.
