instead of direct journey map leads on highway approach I don't know how fix the error asked 27 Mar '15, 10:40 CarlMB aseerel4c26 ♦ |
I deleted the duplicate primary road and made a proper connection between the primary and trunk roads. Hope this works now, but it will take half a day or so until the routing engine updates the data. answered 27 Mar '15, 11:09 Frederik Ramm ♦ 1
That's fine of course, but isn't the question rather "what is wrong" and "how to fix" instead of "fix it for me"? :-) Well, okay, now you have a good demo of it "should be this way", which is also good for learning (by comparing with the previous state, visible in the screenshots). Have a good mappy day, all!

Hi all, For route queries and bugs use the following routing@openstreetmap.org answered 28 Mar '15, 23:44 RAytoun 1
Yes, it is a public mailing list: https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/routing Still there is no reason for not posting routing questions here, especially if broken data is involved.

And thus without knowing (think of all users not familiar with mailing lists), your email address and real name gets published ... no solution for me!!

That is a very good and worrying point that will put a lot of people off using it. I am glad I raised the point only if it enabled this information to be revealed.

It looks like the streets are overlapping here and there is a big arc in the trunk road. See this screenshot. For the screenshot demonstration I just have moved node 1025891128 to make it visible (it is marked in red in my screenshot). I did not save this. Just moving this node to its correct place (somehow like this) should be enough to correct the routing. Note: I seems like some turn restrictions are missing too – but that is not the main problem here. answered 27 Mar '15, 11:06 aseerel4c26 ♦ |
