How do I prevent feature fadeout viewing from >2000 feet (lower zoom levels)?

1

I can see electrical lines from viewing heights <2000 feet, but they fade out at >2000 feet. I need to view from >2000 feet to get a wide area view.

This issue occurs when I am on the website via Firefox https://www.openstreetmap.org/ I am viewing the default map ("Standard" under Map Layers) on the website.

Is there a way to prevent the fade out of these features?

Thanks

You cannot easily modify the Standard map style.

An option would be to use a specialized map/service. → Have a look at the OSM-based energy maps by ito: http://www.itoworld.com/map/group/16 I guess "electricity distribution" should be good for you.

Another option would be to use overpass turbo (optionally together with uMap) or just to view them in an OSM editor like JOSM.

Of course, you always could render your own custom map, based on OSM-data.

Also see the suggestions on https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Power .
