How to map a street covered with a roof, as seen below?

Typically market/shopping areas.

Add the tag covered=yes to the parts of the street that are covered, you might have to split the way accordingly.

There is also the building=roof tag which you could add to the roof outline. But the wiki suggests to use this tag only for roofs which are open at least at two sides - which isn't really the case here.
