Can anyone recommend either a service that sells wall maps based on OpenStreetMap or a program that will allow me to make a custom wall map that I can send to a print company (I want something larger than a normal printer can handle)? I'm looking for or would like to make two different maps. One of the world where each country is a different color and an other one of United States where each state is a different color.

I'm not looking for a print of a city guide or a water resistant map which there clear links to services that claim to do that on the Wiki (I did look).

We have many questions regarding printing (also big ones), click the tag which I have added below your question (sort by "most voted").

In principle, use a service form OSM on Paper list to make a big bitmap image or better a vector file and then search a printing service for big prints.

I guess there could be companies offering this as full service, however I am not aware of one. Maybe someone else knows one. Some of our commercial services list have "print" mentioned. You could look around a bit.
