I am based out of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. When zoomed out, the map tiles are inconsistently blotchy. How can this be fixed.
Also, sometimes the major city labels are not displayed whereas minor towns are. Can this be changed? Thanks, Tony |

Please do not ask two questions in one. For your 2nd question the answer can be found by searching for existing questions on similar topics see for example https://help.openstreetmap.org/questions/29913/lakeway-tx-instead-of-austin-tx As to your 1st question: lots of the landuse in Canada is imported from the canvec datasource and that has been done in a grid like fashion, so your perceived tile blotchiness is simply reflecting the data that is there or rather not.
