Hello, Mapping for about 4 years, I meet now for the first time a problem to edit in the side selection windows (with the conflicts, validation,....other windows):

I just have to knobs "selection" and "search" but not the useful one "modification" allowing to add, edit and so.

As a matter of fact, I recently made a mistake on a modification I sent to Openstreetmap and I badly wish to correct it A.S.A.P. !

Thanks so much for any help Michel

(for info) this sounds like a JOSM issue to me, and it looks like this mapper's last changesets did use JOSM.

  • Hit Alt+Shift+P,
  • use the "windows" menu (top right) or
  • use the button on the left button bar

to re-enable this tag modification side tool in JOSM. See Help/ToggleDialogs in the JOSM wiki.

Thanks so much to everyone for this quick and efficient answer. Alt+Shift+P works perfectly to have editing buttons again. Michel

If you cannot re-enable the side tool, you might try to reset the preferences as described in the documentation.
