Would it be possible to edit your question to include more words? It's really not clear what you are asking here.

How good would be the coverage of cities say incase of Open Street India map? Do we have any statistical data regarding the coverage area of cities in India map based on Roads/Addresses? Just would like to ensure OSM coverage area is good as we develop android application based on OSMdroid/OSMBonuspack..

There is one example where we do a comparison based on official data from local autorities or data sources with the OSM data. As result, we have lists of streets or housenumbers that may be missing in OSM. But this webservice regio-osm.de is based on data for Germany or some areas around, and not for other continents/countries. And the webservice itself seems to be only in german language.

So you should ask yourself first: Do you have any official data that you can compare against OSM?

If anybody has time to improve this page, maybe add links to visual map comparison tools... As hard as it may be to provide an answer, this is a FAQ.
