Nominatim response

Is there some documentation on the response of Nominatim search? For instance, what are the possible values for type or class? Is the importance a measure of how close my search was to the result?

I have seen the wiki page, but i think it lacks such info.

I would also like to know if there is such documentation for the response of the Reverse service.
