Why not ask your question on the new OpenStreetMap Community Forum?

A lot of parks have playgrounds within them, for example Monocacy Village Park.

How do you mark these playgrounds for children to distinguish them from the larger park?

Hmm, I am not sure if I understand the question... but, why not just by tagging them as playground?! Example.
