Hello,

We have long long nominatim installation and have some troubles:

Here we do not have city field (this place is in Sofia/Bulgaria): http://nom.gpslogistic.net/nominatim/reverse.php?format=xml&lat=42.64090&lon=23.4158&zoom=18&addressdetails=1

Here we have mix between cyrillic names and latin names: http://nom.gpslogistic.net/nominatim/reverse.php?format=xml&lat=43.46841&lon=24.1625754&zoom=18&addressdetails=1

Do you know how to fix these issues?

Thank you for help in advance!

Hello,

For the second one, if you append "&accept-language=bg-BG" to your URL, then the names will appear in the original Bulgarian (except the country code, which is always in ASCII by definition).

For the first problem, I think it might be because Sofia doesn't have a boundary line at the moment that indicates exactly where the city limits are, so Nominatim doesn't know which points are in Sofia the city and which aren't. There's a conversation going on right now on the forum about adding that boundary, and I very much want to create it soon, exactly for this reason.

I hope this helps.
