Tagging for two-way cycleway on footpath on one side of the road.

0

Hi, I tried to tag a two-way signed cycleway on the footpath on one side of the road in changeset 26332967. It is not showing up on OSM cycle. Have I coded it correctly? Why is it not showing up on the map? Is there some comprehensive examples of how to code the many complicated situations of where cycleways may be put in relation to footpaths and roads? Thanks, Greg

I'd be the first to confess that I haven't kept up with cycleway tagging, but wondered where "cycleway:right=sidepath" came from? I'd be tempted to use "cycleway:right=opposite_track" for what I think that you're describing.

That's the Lübecker scheme: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/DE:Bicycle/Radverkehrsanlagen_kartieren_L%C3%BCbecker_Methode, which is not "recognized" outside Lübeck, and hence not rendered on the main map. At least that is what I think.

Hi, here is a site with tags for cycleways In The Netherlands it's always allowed to walk on a cycleway, so I would only tag the cycleway. Australia has the same rule, I don't see one for New Zealand.
