I am getting an error message "there is a problem with openstreetmap Iceland installation". It is preventing City navigator from opening. How do I clear this error?

You can use MapSetToolKit to fix this. Just download it, unzip it, then run it. In the middle on the right hand side, it has a section for "Mapset installed", which should list all of the maps you have in MapSource. Underneath that, there is a button for "check registry". If you click that, it should tell you if there are problems with any of the mapsets. If there are problems with a mapset (eg the Openstreetmap Iceland maps), you can select that one, then use the "Uninstall" option to remove it. Then you should be able to open MapSource with your City Navigator maps as usual. If you still want to use the OpenStreetMap maps in MapSource, you could try downloading and installing them again. I'm not sure where you downloaded the Iceland maps from, but you could try some different OpenStreetMap based Garmin maps, as they might work better in MapSource. Try something from this list: OSM Map On Garmin answered 15 Mar '11, 14:27 Vclaw It is showing one file in the mapset window labled Familiesopenstreet with ???? under code. I tried to unistall and it wont let let me remove. In the check registry there are four files of iceland with one being ok, two not found and Warning: directory not found. What do you mean by won't let you remove it? Any error message? Also, what operating system are you using? If using Windows Vista or 7 you might have to use the "run as administrator" option to run MapSetToolkit.

Thanks for your help. I was able to clear with a registry cleaner.
