Tiles not showing up in default web interface

0

I can't seem to view any tiles on Open Street Map's default web view. The delay between a request for a tile image and it eing received goes up to 50 seconds! Are OSM servers experiencing technical difficulties?

Could you please link a location on the osm map and please mention from which country you are accessing - we have a geographically distributed server system.

These delays happen basically when accessing any tile. I'm accessing OSM from Poland

@groovy354: as a quick workaround: just use the layer switcher button and switch to another map style. They should work (since they are served by other servers).

Earlier today there was a problem with one of the tile servers (since fixed). Things should be back to normal soon.

As a bit of background, here's the relevant graph which at the time of writing shows a climb, and then steep drop, in data import lag on one of the servers, and here is a bit of an explanation of it.

thank you for your answer! I was just checking out OSM for the first time and got a bit of a bitter taste :P Will give it another shot tomorrow, then :)

I have not noticed issues today (from Germany), but looking at the serving graphs I spot an irregularity today (not happend the last week like it was today) in the outbound network traffic (apparently there was a switch-over to another server). Apparently rendering updates are delayed too today.

So … please just wait until tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. I am quite sure that the server admins already are aware of these problems (by automatic server issue reporting and those performance graphs).
