I'm the GIS coordinator of a Municipality in Massachusetts. I want to contribute to the OSM mapping, in particular our trails. I've noticed a fair amount of errors, as well as out of date data on the OSM site. We have been working on our trail system in town for a few years now and feel as though they are in great shape. I do not have the time however to edit all the trails in the OSM system. Is there a way for me to upload my corrected data, either through shapefile of GDB to the OSM site? thank you.

Thanks for the idea of contributing to OSM. Please consult the US community before adding the data and read the ODbl rules too, http://opendatacommons.org/ http://forum.openstreetmap.org/viewforum.php?id=20 And last but not least read these pages as well http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Import_guidelines theres a discussions group about or concerning imports as well. Not the right subject but the adress goes with it, https://dub123.mail.live.com/?tid=cmVWunp1BC5BGoBgAiZMGX9A2&fid=fltrash
