i need to export some selected area in jpg format, to mark there routes and then print on paper. later i did it on export page http://www.openstreetmap.org/export#map=14/53.8531/27.6113 , but now there is impossible to choose jpg. |

Use Windows7 screen snipping tool, it can be used to draw a line or highlighted route at the same time. The area can be borderless and saved as a jpeg. Apparently all the cool kids are using "share" as the name for "export" these days. :-) The OSM website rewrite last year added a "share" link (which may do what you want) in addition to the more sensibly-named "export" one. It's the second unlabelled icon from the bottom at the right-hand-side. 1
but "The load average on the server is too high at the moment". and it shows me all the time.

That problem is described in detail here. For a relatively small area, would an edited screenshot of the browser window work? For example, if you're using Windows 7 - alt-printscreen, run MSPaint or similar, then shift-insert to paste. Crop and otherwise edit as required.
