OpenStreetMap developers have often made use of hackspaces for weekend hacking sessions and other events, but I cannot find any objects with tags including "hack" on tagwatch for Europe. I'd like to add the local hackspace and the assorted community activities (communal media workshops, dance studios, exhibition space and training rooms) hosted at the same site. The closest tag I can think of is amenity=community_centre, but somehow this doesn't seem to quite capture the concept. What do you suggest?

I'm aware of one hackspace (hackerspace) map already based on openstreetmap.

http://www.technomancy.org/osm-hackerspaces/

It uses the tag leisure=hackerspace

The three hackerspaces I know are: http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/node/638569869 http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/node/272855162 and http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/node/260050809 . So leisure=hackerspace looks good. (And we should teach them about "don't tag for the renderer").

leisure=hackerspace it is then.
