Google makes it easy to create a map of POIs. They do the hosting, and the POIs are all listed. Example:

https://mapsengine.google.com/map/viewer?mid=zotF0ZPYP79Y.k4bqjE4bFA2k

Is there any easy way to create a hosted map with OSM? I noticed the LA Times has done something similar: http://guides.latimes.com/los-angeles-juice-bars
