Add marker to a routing map

Hi, I want to draw a route on a map and then add a marker that is independent of the route. Is this possible? I found many ways to drawing a route or to add a marker, but not to do both in the same map. I need this becouse I want to draw a route and adding the position of the user on the map, so they can see where to go. thanks you very much for the help
