what does "AV" mean against a cycle route (instead of the number) - eg rout 21 sudedenly becomes "AV" just north of Hailsham near the south coast is there anywhere that gives a full list of these (for instance in the standard open map key a lot is not listed which appears on the map eg pylons/powerlines (at least i think they are)) |

If you look at one of the member ways, such as this one, you will see that that section is part of both NCN 21 and Avenue Verte (London-Paris). I guess which label displays on any particular section in more than one route is down to how data gets read and label collision works. |
