Lane modification (adding a node, splitting the road on this node, assigning lanes and turn:lanes) has resulted in a couple of “modified Bus Route” changes (with iD). Is it OK? Should I care?

This is exactly what I see:

modified Secondary Road: Kempenbaan
created Secondary Road: Kempenbaan
modified Bus Route: Vessem Groenewoud - Veldhoven Heemweg/Centrum
modified Secondary Road: Kempenbaan
created Secondary Road: Kempenbaan
modified Bus Route: Lijn 103 Eindhoven Station NS - MMC Veldhoven via Airport

Region in question: https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=19/51.40670/5.41441

(BTW, when trying to upload the screen shot, I get “[Errno 13] Permission denied: '/var/www/help.openstreetmap.org'” error. What can I do about it?)

Re the screenshot error - the ability to upload images seems to have been broken by a recent upgrade - upload it somewhere else and link to it (e.g. an image sharing website such as imgur or one of many others).

@SomeoneElse: Shouldn't I tell admins about it? Then I am back at my question about meta for this site. I don't know the default channel of getting in touch with admins. Is it the #osm-dev IRC channel?

Yes, the best way of contacting the server admins is via the #osm-dev IRC channel. OSQA isn't exactly flavour of the month there at the moment, though, due to an undocumented global change in it that broke email out from the machine that it was installed on, so you might have to be slightly tolerant of any replies :)

I think you don't have to care. When you split a way that is part of a relation, the editor should take care that both parts are placed in the relation. Since you get a warning that the relation has changed, this is probably the case.

I know for sure that JOSM handles this fine and I think that iD does this too. (now, there were some problems when it was first released).
