Are you using a userid and password on the OpenStreetMap site, or using OpenID?

To log in to OpenStreetMap at ...

you can use either your "Display name" or your email address. It is possible to change you display name, so that could be something you have confused yourself with.

You should be able to look through your old emails and find a confirmation email which you used when you first signed up. Take the email address that this was sent to, and use this when you're signing in.

Still not working? Time to try a password reset:

If the problems are not OpenID related as SomeoneElse suggests you need to send the details to , they will likely need the e-mail address you used for signing up too.
