Does this site have a meta?

3

Where can I discuss this help site? I have some suggestions regarding tags. On StackExchange, there is a meta. Is there one here too? Or any other way to reach admins or moderators?

This question is marked "community wiki".

There's no "meta" for this site, but there is a meta for general OSQA functionality here. Although personally I wouldn't try and overthink tagging etc. here, perhaps a mailing list might work as a discussion forum? If you want to contact the admins, your best place is probably the #osm-dev IRC channel.

Thanks for the links. I am new here and don't yet have a feeling about the OSM community and interaction. Being obviously an experience user, where would you suggest discussing such issues as tag duplication, e.g. tag/tags/tagging or bug/bugs?

Just checking - you're asking about tags used on this help site and not tags in OpenStreetMap generally, yes?

Just to note: I would not take part in a mailing list discussion (and I think I would not be the only one). ;-) That's too much effort/privacy problem. Forum is much easier. Yes, not everybody likes to use a forum and prefers a ML.

Luckily the wiki has simply talk and project pages where meta discussion can take place – that should be suitable for all who work on the wiki.

No, there is no meta except some meta questions (see your meta tag). I guess we could make a group (there is also one for the wiki) in the osm forum (there is no already, AFAIK).
