Is there a way to invoke JOSM from OSMI without having to use the mouse?

From OSMI (OSM-Inspector) you can download the error in question to JOSM and edit accordingly using JOSM's remote control add-on.

To do so you are required to move the mouse pointer to a very small Icon of about 3²mm at the top right hand of the OSMI window. This initiates the download to JOSM but does not switch to JOSM automatically so you are then reqired to switch to JOSM by using the mouse or by using the standard windows keyboard shortcuts.

Would it not be nice if this whole procedure could be done with a single keystroke? This may already be possible. Maybe I just don't know how! Does anybody?

Not a direct solution for the problem : have you considered using QAT scripts (https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Quality_Assurance_Tools_script) with JOSM? QAT can show OSMI errors and errors from KeepRight and few other places.

Try to contact the boys and girls from geofabrik.de directly via contact data on their website,

and write a feature request.

Normally, Frederik from geofabrik is active on this FAQ site, too.
