Hi, I am also no longer able to find the Logging Services icon in Osmand. It was visible until about 3 weeks ago, when I got an update on my Galaxy S4 mobile. Since then I have been unable to get it back. Also, my mobile seems to capture tracks every time I open Osmand even if I do not select the GPX Recording. Can anyone advise? Thanks Allen

I do not have Osmand, but I slightly remember that it has plugins which you can switch on or off. Checked this? Or are you in walking mode? See https://code.google.com/p/osmand/wiki/HowToGpxRecord

This does not work. I went through the instructions, but when I get to the "configure screen", there is no "logging services" icon under "Status Panel" or "Right Screen" to select.

Sorry, it worked for me when that question was asked and I took the screenshot, but I realise that I don't have the icon now either. A quick web search found the OsmAnd forums which discuss the icon having been removed with the functionality available from a couple of other widgets. I've added a link as an Update on my answer to the previous question.
