Hi there, I'm by no means an expert - but I'm hoping someone here can help. I'm (desperately) trying to fing building data for Jeddah in Saudi Arabia and have so far had next to no luck - any suggestions? Hope you can help Al |

Hi Algernon, what do you mean by trying to find building data for Jeddah ? The data or the visibility of the buildings in OSM ? There has been a mapper who added some buildings in 2012 and most of the streets. The Bing arial shows a lot of buildings, which are not added to OSM. There’s a lot of work to do if you want to start adding to OSM. |
do you need building data to add to OSM ? or do you want to extract building data from OSM ? Please edit your question and add this information.
As far as I can see on the osm.org map http://osm.org/go/w97nitb?node=1933393717 , there are no buildings in Jeddah yet. A great opportunity to trace them yourself :-)
