Hi,

I cannot install OSM maps on my Garmin.

I have a GPS Garmin nuvi 600. I downloaded a gmapsupp.img file from http://garmin.openstreetmap.nl/ , based on the OSM maps 2014/07/07. I copied this file on my Garmin SD card, in the /Garmin directory. Then, when I turned my Garmin on, and a message informed me that maps are loaded. So it seems that the new maps have been recognized and read … but my GPS still uses the all maps : I cannot see map changes done several months ago.

Can anybody help me ?

Thanks.

It should help to disable in the settings all maps but the OSM map to see it.

You're right ! I've found the settings, and it works now. It is curious that I did not find it before.

Thank you for your help.

@Gentin: Please see how-to-mark-an-answer-as-accepted-and-mark-my-question-as-answered for how to accept an answer. "Closing" (as you tried to) is not needed here. :-)
