I would like the option to make roads more emphasized on some maps of varying scale. White roads with light gray outlines on an off-white map background are difficult to use. How do I change their visibility on the map?

I would also like a little more contrast. It's a bigger problem on mobile screens on a sunny day. There we be somewhere an area to request that I'm sure. Do the alternative renderings help, click layers, see picalt text

Hi Patrick, A short answer, yes you can but only if you decide to make and render your own map, like openrailwaymap, there more maps it’s just an example. The renderer is free to make his own decisions and what to show, how and what not. Welcome anyway.
