Hi

I am looking for a plot of land to build on. I can see the boundary maps on the council website but there are no road names on them. How do I go about getting these on this site please? I am a first time user.

Thanks Paula

Paula you would need to give some indication of where this is actually taking place so that you can really get answers. Best a link from the openstreetmap.org website/map.

In general however the way to get street names in to OSM is to add them, or add a note with the name and hope somebody will add them for you, see http://www.openstreetmap.org/fixthemap

Paula, Im not a technician but since its possible to work with layers in JOSM, it should be possible to project both maps at the same time. That should be the end of your problem.
