Why not ask your question on the new OpenStreetMap Community Forum?

In the last time I was not very satisfied with the search results in OSM Wiki. E.g. if I perform this search: http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Search&search=proposed+relation+area I get 0 results.

The same for advanced search

but there is a page which matches exactly the title: http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Proposed_features/new_place_values

or http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Relations/Proposed/Area

I've added some information on this page http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Searching_the_wiki which gets linked from the "no matches" message. Hopefully only temporarily

It works for me. On your first search, I got the related wiki page as the first result entry.

Thanks to Jonathan Bennett.

By the way, the link to the trac is : trac.openstreetmap.org
