I have a Garmin eTrex 20, only a few months old. I have installed TalkyToaster UK maps and OSM maps of Italy, France and Spain all on a micro SD card, and all worked fine both in the eTrex and in Base Camp until yesterday, 4th July , when I had opened Base camp and saw an invitation to update both that site and the eTrex, foolishly I installed both, and since then neither Base Camp not eTrex itself recognises the existence of the micro SD card . The maps are still on the card (they show up when I connect the card to the USB port).
