I would like to download a map as JPG when called for it on the platform openstreetmap. Unfortunately the website always collapses when I do so. Can you help?

Here are some answers to print questions and another I just printed a jpeg of my locality via the share link on the right side ok, but having tried a second time for a bigger area I received this error message... "Error The load average on the server is too high at the moment. Please wait a few minutes before trying again."

There are high loads on the servers at times.

Let us know if this doesn't solve your problem

... discovered quite recently:

via http://overpass-turbo.eu you can search for a place, drag or zoom the map, then choose Export -> Map -> PNG image
