Total newbie question here so please be patient. I would like to generate (print) a map of the Denver metro area and surrounds (approximately 75 miles x 50 miles) from OSM without displaying the airports on it. I just want to capture the screen on my PC that shows a particular highway on a zoomed-out perspective. Is there any way to do this? Thanks much for any advice you can give me (and because I am so green with this, the more detail you can give, the more helpful it would be).

On the right of the map on openstreetmap.org there is a column of icons. Click on the fourth one (called Layers). Here you can select some different styles of maps. The bottom two choices only have the four biggest airports around Denver as an icon and no name labels on those airports.

Denver on Humanitarian layer.

A collection of OSM based tiles in different styles can be found in the OSM wiki about Tiles.

Also have a look at OSM on Paper and Rendering for alternative map displaying.
