I want to load a ruleset that I have created. when doing so:

use-ruleset location=Rules/footway.mrules as-alias=footway

I get the following error:

Could not load rules: Could not find a part of the path "/home/osm/Desktop/OSMSoftware/Maperitive/rules/footway.mrules". Failed

Any help, please and thank you

I don't know if it matters, but did you see the difference between 'Rules' and 'rules'?

In case of doubt, try to ask at the Maperitive mailinglist (googlegroup) where the developer can even spot your issue.

See maperitive.net for the link.
