For more than two years, I did not use JOSM and so I did not upload anything. Now, the password no longer works. However, according to wiki, it is always the same password as, for example, for http://forum.openstreetmap.org - and here it works fine! So - what can I do?

Problem resolved. Login now works fine. Cause for the problem in the morning is unknown. Case may be closed. answered 28 Mar '14, 14:38 David Moerike |
Just to check a couple of obvious things:
You're using a rcent version of JOSM?
The "use the default OSM server" box is ticked in preferences?
"Use basic authentication" is set?
(assuming you don't need to use a proxy) proxy settings are set to "no proxy"?
If you really think that it's a problem with the service, please send a mail with your registration email address to the support

Sure that you use the password and not OAuth? If OAuth: The OAuth permission might be invalid in the meantime (whyever). Make a new one. See your osm.org user account settings.
