Hello Guys,

I am trying to make it work an application that I developed with an object extension for Qlikview, that uses OSM. I am not sure, I think this is some sort of an API...

Problem is, I have the servers IP address in the wiki page, but, my application goes to this IP address: "140.211.15.75"

I get back this information:

140.211.15.75 IP address location & more:
IP address [?]: 140.211.15.75 [Copy][Whois] [Reverse IP]
IP country code: US
IP address country: United States
IP address state: Oregon
IP address city: Eugene
IP postcode: 97403
IP address latitude: 44.0364
IP address longitude: -123.0547
ISP of this IP [?]: Oregon State System of Higher Education
Organization: Oregon State System of Higher Education
Host of this IP: [?]: projects.osgeo.osuosl.org [Whois] [Trace]
Local time in United States: 2014-03-25 11:19

So, I got an IP Address that is not listed in the OSM Server list (http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Server)

Why did I get this IP? And, is there any other IP that I should unblock??? Is there a list somewhere that I should unblock in my firewall?

Since now, thank you.

What URL or hostname are you using? OSM.org do have hardware at OSUOSL.org but none is active yet.

You should not be hard-coding an IP into your application. Your application should point at api.openstreetmap.org.

Keep in mind the API usage policy and that the API is for editing.
