adding uk postcodes post installation

Hi, and sorry if this question has already been asked in the past.

Can I add uk postcodes (as mentioned in http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Nominatim/Installation#UK_postcodes )

after I already have a running Nominatim installation?

It is possible but you have to make sure you are on Nominatim release 2.2. Instructions on how to update from 2.1 can be found in the release notes. Then you can add the UK postcodes. The release notes also describe how to do that.
