I have exported data in .osm format. When I open it in global mapper the vector data has many additional lines that extend to an unknown point. What is this point? and how can I remove it so that the data looks like that in Open Street Map? |

You should direct this question at the makers of the software that you are using. Similar problems with Global Mapper are reported frequently. This article in a Global Mapper forum might be a good starting point. |
