How do I find the name of a motorway_junction?

0

Is the name tag on a highway=motorway_junction node the destination text that appears on the exit sign?

I would say that most motorway_junction ways will not have a name. However, like roundabouts, some junctions may have a real (or colloquial) name

So on the Pennsylvania Turnpike at I-176, would the name be simply Morgantown? Should the rest of the text go in another field?

It probably depends on the conventions of the country. In Germany, for example, the official name of an exit is indeed the first destination on the sign (although there are probably exceptions).
