I have been trying to follow procedures suggested to generate traces that can be used on an editing map. I have uploaded traces succesfully but when I use them to display an editable map, I do not see the traces shown. Is there a step I am missing to make them appear on the map?

Fred.

First: welcome! :-) Which editor are you using? Or which do you want to use?

what do you mean when you say "the map" in your last sentence?

The process, if you are using Potlatch2 editor is: - edit, choose the potlach2 editor. click on down arrow to the right of gps tab, then my tracks. Refresh list then tic the track you wish to see, it will show as a cyan (pale blue) line.

An alternative from map page is to click more: GPS traces : See Your Traces : Login :to see your traces : Click on the edit tab of trace you wish to edit. see screen grab below.
