So I've recently been working on fixing up the boundary of Los Angeles City. It turn out that the boundaries imported in the area included separate boundaries for census-designated places (CDPs). Considering that OSM data is sometimes used for purposes other than routing, I would recommend leaving CDPs in place. I can conceive of uses for OSM that might need that information. But then, that's just my opinion. answered 15 Apr '14, 21:23 Jack the Ripper |
