Hi there, using Potlatch 2 and suddenly with the new layout the search on the left is not shown anymore. How can I enable it, as without the system us useless. Regards Christian asked 18 Jan '14, 07:03 chtrede |
Previously the search box was available on the sidebar, but now the sidebar doesn't exist in the same form, P2 fills the width of the window. However there is (and always has been, I think) the ability to search for locations within P2 itself. Just click the search icon below the zoom controls: One thing to bear in mind though - you'll probably want to close one changeset (by saving and pressing "c") before moving to another location, so that your changesets don't show up as huge in the history list. answered 18 Jan '14, 10:14 SomeoneElse ♦ Thanks - however far less usefull to search that way than before.

Hi, to which search box do you refer to? The osm.org search box did always disappear when launching P2, doesn't it?
Here's what it previously looked like, for info:
In case you are interested, this was reported as bug some weeks ago: website search box and "where am I" reverse geocoding is not available any more for use in potlatch2
