Why not ask your question on the new OpenStreetMap Community Forum?

Hello I have just created maps and downloaded them. The installation into basecamp looks OK, but unfortunately I see no topographic data (no contour lines). The file names are openfietsmap_lite_gmapsupp.zip and openfietsmap_lite_windows.exe

What is the reason for the "lite" part in the name? Does it indicate no topo? How can I get also topo data?

Thanks

Ben

Which Garmin device are you using? Unfortunatly I can't read NL :( http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Openfietskaart/Technical#Contour_.2F_Hoogtelijnen_Layer

I use Garmin Montana. But I do not see contour lines also in the basecamp installation. So I guess it has nothing to do with the specific device.

From the openfietsmap.nl website

Worldwide (Openfietsmap Lite)

On garmin.openstreetmap.nl you can make a worldwide selection of predefined countries or a (limited) selection of tiles. Choose the option Routable Bicycle for the Openfietsmap Lite version. This light version does not include contourlines, buildings, extended landuse (grass, farmland etc).

The maps of Benelux, Germany and Europe maps do have contour lines (again see openfietsmap.nl website)
