I have created several POIs in this location http://www.openstreetmap.org/edit#map=18/24.40071/54.57715 but cannot find them in search. What can be the reason??

What search terms were you using?

I can see 9 POIs there (some of which appear to be duplicates?):

A search for "Tandoori Express" does find at least one:

http://nominatim.openstreetmap.org/details.php?place_id=9157576399

"Nominatim" is what handles the searches that you type in on osm.org. The Nominatim FAQ refers to a graph of import lag here - maybe you were just searching before it was indexed?

Kush take a look again, theres a building supermarket, with a lot of tags and some double tags besides it. Read also this answer https://help.openstreetmap.org/questions/17389/what-is-the-best-way-to-address-add-pois-and-amenities before you carry on.

Also please check what you have added. I doubt there are 2 restaurants named "Tandoor Express" and "Tandoori Express" only some meters apart of each other.

Remove "edit" from the link and you can follow it easily.
