Why not ask your question on the new OpenStreetMap Community Forum?

Hello, I am just starting to use openstreetmap and usually I am not that stupid in getting used to new plattforms - but in this case I am: How do I search for more than one place/ city etc. in order to get a possible path from the one place to the other one? (from Hamburg to Leipzig for example/ my home street to the street of my uni?)

I'd be thankful for any advice as I'd very much like to use openstreetmap in exchange to googlemaps.

Thanks! Manuel

First of all, it's not a silly question. Adding routing support to the front page of OpenstreetMap.org has been a goal for some time now, but it's not available there currently. However, there are a number of other sites that use OpenStreepMap data that do support routing. Here's one, and here's another. And here are more (and info about routing with OSM).
